Red Snapper Mornings

Hellooooooooooo peeps!!!
How was your Easter?!?!
What did you dooooooooooooooooo??

I spent a good portion of it working, night duty.
Monday night was pretty much Easter dinner for Hamish and I.
We celebrated.... very well all the sordid details are on my twitter heheheeheheee.
We woke up the next day VERY hungover.
I felt pretty sorry for myself for the majority of the day.

:( :( :(

Hamish disappeared on Sunday pretty much as soon as I woke up after night duty and came back with this bag from Simon Johnson...
Hello bag!

Inside was this chicky chick!!
Wah!!! So cute!!
I ate her head first
Inside the chicky was an egg!!!!!
I ate that toot sweet before Hamish got his dirt mitts on it.

I figured in ode to all things hungover I'd share with you Hamish's ultimate Red Snapper recipe.
A Red Snapper is a variation of a Bloody Mary using GIN.
We ♥ Gin
Perhaps you could do this with the baked eggs I made a few months ago, you can find the recipe here
Remember it's only 3 more days until the weekend
:) :) :)

Red Snapper

Juice of 1/2 lime
10 shakes of Tabasco
10 shakes of Worcestershire
2 shots of Tanqueray Gin
2 lime wedges
5-6 cubes of ice
Salt & cracked pepper to taste
Place all in shaker and shake
Pour into tall glass and finish with tomato juice, stir well
garnish with celery
:) :) :)

  1. That is a seriously good looking drink! I had one tiny little mini egg all Easter that I had to wrestle from my nephew. But that doesn't make me a saint, I was eating my body weight in traditional Balinese food so couldn't fit any chocolate in!

  2. That drink looks absolutely delicioussss! I have to try it. I've never had a bloody mary, though. Can you believe that? I am obviously missing out on some delights in life.

  18. I wanted to leave this comment the other night but it wouldn't let me!

Anywho, how cute is the Simon Johnson chicky ducky !!

I used to be a bartender in my studently days but Bloddy Marys still remain one of my fave drinks of choice. Unbelieveably, I have not tried with gin?!?! FTW.

    I will ASAP.
