Book Wormssssssssssssssssss Club

It appears a lot of the readers of Blithely Unaware also love reading BOOKS!!!
How would you feel about a book club of sorts?!?
Then I will be forced to stick to my read-a-book-a-fortnight mission. HA!

If you would like to join in leave a comment and let me know.... I propose that our inaugural book is this:

Room by Emma Donoghue
You can buy it here.
If you would like to comment about the book I will do a post on Feb the 7th.

  2. Its a great idea! I have kinda weird and limited taste in books - mostly only reading sci-fi and sometimes fantasy. Anything that is mind-bending or out of this world really.

That said - I just mowed through the entire Millennium trilogy in barely two weeks. The last two books took me four days each. *ahem*
They were great books though! I liked them.

  3. I am on board for sure - I seem to be reading books faster than I can find them at the moment and I haven't read that one so will start immediately!! YAY!

  4. I'm also keen. Have you considered joining the Vogue Forum Melbourne Book Club? I'm going for the first time this month.

And can you plan out a few books? 2 weeks is hard for finding and reading a book sometimes. Planning in advance would be nice :-)

    1. I'm about to buy this as an ebook, figure it's the fastest option to read it. But thought I would also let you know that to me it looks like you have threaded comments (read ur twitter). Just so you know, I'm use firefox and chrome.

  8. What an excellent idea!!!! We'd need face to face meet ups though so we can get drunk & forget to talk about the book...hic.

  11. Sounds great! I think this is a valid excuse to buy a book. And it will help me keep on track with my 26 books this year. Will get it on kindle though, to help keep the clutter down
