Telling my boo white lies
This is more a virtual reminder list for myself than anything.
I'm totally, totally addicted to everything bebe at Seed.
The quality of the clothing is fantastic, they have beautiful prints and colours.
I'm in love!
P.S I literall want 8290338210 of those dummies, they are HILARIOUS!
The other night Hamish told me he believed in the whole if you eat carrots you will be able to see in the dark thing.
He used to eat all his carrots then go running into the back garden and open his eyes REALLY WIDE and call out to his mum I CAN SEE! I CAN SEE IN THE DARK!!!
Oh the innocence!
Do you think it's ok to tell white lies?
What white lies were you told as a kid?

hahahahahahha @ Hamish story!!!!!! that is SO cute.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think white lies are fine. Especially as you get older as they make good childhood stories.
My sister and I were scared of thunderstorms so my mum just told us that it was becuase he was upset we were eating ice cream! She told us to yell at him saying "You can't have my ice cream!!!!" Anyway - we weren't scraed anymore becuase of it and when I think back to then, it makes me smile that my mum made up that story for us.
I have so many but that was the first one that came to mind!!

That is too cute!!
DeleteMy mum used to pretend that the bubble man had come through the tap and put bubbles in my bath, I clearly remember the story and thought it was SO cool that a bubble man lived in the tap just to give me bubbles.
It's stories like your mum's and my mum's that make us smile years later... love those memories.

My mum used to do the old eat carrots and see in the dark. Mum also told me to eat my crusts so my hair would be curly... 25 plus years later and no curls. Harmless though :)
ReplyDeleteYES!
DeleteI used to get told that too, or hairs on my chest?!
What little girl wants hairs on their chest?!
But I clearly remember thinking "COOL" and eating my crust hoping for hairs haahahahahahaa
Oh the innocence!!!

OMG....Seed. Noted. :) I think they're pretty harmless, really. I'll try not to resort to that but no judgement when I do. I say when, not if, as I'm sure it'll happen haha.
ReplyDeleteHeidi xo
Even Father Christmas is a white lie at the end of the day... sigh... I wish he was real.
